Howard Timms

snapshot_20161210Howard, festival Webmaster and box office manager, was led into Cheltenham’s vibrant poetry scene by his wife, Marilyn Timms, who is an accomplished local poet, artist, and playwright.
Howard’s main career was as an editor and writer of non-fiction in a number of media, and he is also an actor and playwright. Seven of his full-length plays and more than a dozen short plays have been produced in Cheltenham, and many other venues in the United Kingdom and United States. His latest play, Oscar Wilde’s Women features in the 2017 Cheltenham Poetry Festival, as did his productions, In Tune with Dementia  and  Poetry Music Hall in earlier festivals. Howard’s poetry has been included in some of his other plays, and in a few magazines and anthologies.
